About Keith

Keith is a musician, storyteller, cartoonist and standup comedian for kids

An award-winning performer who combines high-energy original music, hilarious stand up comedy, memorable stories and live cartooning, Keith Munslow has entertained tens of thousands of children and families at schools, festivals, concerts, and libraries for more than twenty-five years. Keith’s songs can be heard on numerous children’s radio programs across America, including “Kid’s Place Live”, on Sirius XM Satellite Radio, as well as on all streaming platforms.

A dedicated teaching artist, Keith leads programs in theater arts, music, illustration and improv at schools, churches, and summer arts camps. He has been a longtime arts educator as part of the Artreach Program at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, and at Paul Cuffee Elementary School, where he has been the artist-in-residence for seven years.

Keith hosts and directs The Empire Revue, the longest running sketch comedy and variety show in Rhode Island. He also co-created the Revue’s wildly successful Benny’s The Musical.

As a respected member of the New England music community, Keith often performs with his five piece New Orleans-flavored blues band, Superchief Trio (that’s right - a five piece trio!) at nightclubs, festivals and swing dances throughout New England.

Most recently, Keith composed original music for Eigo De Asobo, a daily educational program for pre-schoolers on Japanese public television (NHK).

Keith launched a new project in January 2023 in which he’ll release a new song every month for the whole year, continuing in his commitment to creating engaging, original music that families can share together.
